Hi, I’m JD. I fell in love with photography as a child, experimenting with family snapshots and school projects — that early passion guides everything I do today. Based in Rhode Island, I’ve spent the last 10 years capturing weddings and quinceañeras, preserving genuine emotions and real connections.

My style is all about natural storytelling. I work unobtrusively, using available light whenever possible, and guide you gently to capture real smiles and candid interactions. During editing, I apply only subtle adjustments — correcting minor imperfections while keeping each image true to its original atmosphere.

I also create educational videos on my YouTube channel @jdphotolens, where a community of over 2,000 subscribers learns lighting, composition, and workflow tricks.
